March 9, 2011: ATMOS Introduces a Whitepaper Which Reviews the Efficacy of Gauze-based NPWT
Gauze-based NPWT has been found to have similar healing times, as compared to foam-based NPWT, as well as, provide a more comfortable treatment for patients.” The intent of this white paper is to differentiate and highlight the positive attributes of gauze-based NPWT for treatment of indicated wounds and provide evidence-based guidance for use of gauze-based NPWT. Multiple current research articles, case studies, manuscripts, and patient/clinician testimonies have been ascertained and obtained in preparation of this document.
September 3, 2010: ATMOS Releases Suggested Clinical Protocols for Gauze-based NPWT
Clinical protocols are vital for safe and effective use of ATMOS Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT). Most medical facilities have protocols in place for general wound care treatments, however NPWT may not specifically be explained. For this reason, ATMOS has assembled a comprehensive set of guidelines, designed to augment clinicians’ knowledge of this specialized therapy, and grow facilities’ preexisting protocols.
August 20, 2010: Announcing the formation of the ATMOS NPWT Clinical Advisory Panel
ATMOS has assembled a wide ranging group of doctors and nurses to provide clinical input and review to our clinical support documents. The diverse expertise of these clinicians have contributed to a comprehensive new Suggested Clinical Protocols for Negative Pressure Wound Therapy. ATMOS would like to thank the members of the Clinical Advisory Panel for their guidance and ongoing support.
